Summer Research Forum
All students funded through the Pritzker Summer Research Program are required to present their research at the Summer Research Forum. Students give a seven minute presentation before a panel of faculty judges from both the clinical and basic sciences. Each presentation is followed by a three minute Q & A.
Eight cash awards are given to the most outstanding presentations. These awards include three:
- The Dr. Joseph B. Kirsner Research Award for Best Overall Presentation
- The Sigma Xi Award for Best Science Project
- The Brain Research Foundation Award for Best Neuroscience Project
- 3 Basic Science Awards for Overall Excellence in Scientific Quality, Content and Ability to Respond to Questions in the Performance of Research in Basic Science
- 3 Clinical Science Awards for Overall Excellence in Scientific Quality, Content and Ability to Respond to Questions in the Performance
